We are sending our swan song into the great void of endlessness; we, those spaceweary pilgrims, sold on a promise of a better life. Upon our Embarkment, we were so starry-eyed, so full of hope for our new world. armed with our Kepler Lander and an onboard ecosystem capable of sustaining life indefinitely, we charged forward into the vast What Is. Our Divergence soon left discord in its wake, a shadow of our broken home fated to reemerge amongst the great promise. This great poison turned us against each other, the silence of space rending open the darkness within. Deep in the endless is, there emerged a terrible Space Anomaly, that agglomeration of the demons hidden in our stow, dooming our nascent voyage to utter disaster.

We broadcast this beacon to all who would listen: beware the blind charge into the future. You will end up Starsick, alone among the stars, your demise inevitably wrought from the wickedness you have failed to reconcile within yourself.
