Midwest based producer duo MixedMind was born from the combined forces between Joey Kriesel(MN), and Nick Kinser(MI). The project delivers a unique collaboration of dirty trap elements and low end bass draws. Having showcased releases in both the US & UK from varying collectives and record labels such as FatKidOnFire, Infernal Sounds, Heavy Traffic Records & Spicy Bois amongst dozens of other entities the duo has been well received and gathered support spanning across oceans, borders, and the world alike. MixedMind has cultivated over 7,500 downloads and 400,000 plays thus developing a prevailing reputation amongst the underground.

Shawn Trottier, better know by his stage name Shawn Who, is a Native American producer/DJ hailing from Spirit Lake Nation; currently based in Saint Paul, MN.

Rooted in the hiphop world, Shawn toured with the Zen People around the midwest for many years as an MC, DJ, producer and finger drummer. During this time he opened for acts such as Three Six Mafia, Afroman, Lil Wyte, Nappy Roots 3x, Zion I and Grieves while also successfully throwing his own shows and parties.

Making 808/bass heavy hiphop beats led Shawn to the big, broad world of dance music. Falling in love with the feeling only a giant subwoofer can provide. As a producer, Shawn pulls influence from his worldly experience, culture and the music he loves. Blending hiphop, turntablism, electronica, dubstep, reggae, pow wow and beyond into music made for sound systems.
