ABOUT THE DJs:
As a Minneapolis-based house music DJ, Nick Gunz embarked in 1996 with an unwavering passion for embracing and perpetuating house music. He established his mark by securing a coveted Saturday night residency at the iconic First Avenue Night Club, affectionately known as "the House that Prince built". Throughout his career, Nick has shared the stage with house music icons such as Eddie Amador, Terry Mullan, DJ Pierre, Hatiras, Joe Smooth, Mike Dunn, and many others, further solidifying his status. Notably, he founded DayFunk, one of the Midwest’s premier house music day party monthlies, showcasing his dedication to cultivating house music culture. His current project, It’s All Happening Right Now, epitomizes his commitment to uniting the past, present, and future of house music, cementing his place as a pivotal figure within the Midwest’s vibrant house music community.
DJ Jake Encinas is a Minneapolis-based house music DJ, producer, and remixer whose sound blends Deep House, Jackin’ House, and Tech House influences shaped by formal training at the Technics DJ Academy in Manchester, England. After developing his craft in Manchester clubs including Font, Sound Bar, and Orange Grove, Encinas returned to Minneapolis and became a fixture in the Twin Cities underground dance scene through residencies at The Lounge, Bounce and Visage, along with appearances at venues including First Avenue, Foundation, Solera, and The Quest. As a producer and remixer, he has released music on labels including Sugar Shack Recordings, Love Network, Plus Plus, Intimate Venues, and Beat Thesis.


Join us for an epic Saturday night DJ dance ride hosted by DJ Dev, Perennial Cycle, and the Joyful Riders Club. Experience the perfect blend of dancing and biking.
🕖 Meet up at 7:00 p.m., roll out at 7:30 p.m., and return to Perennial Cycle by 10 p.m.
📍 Our planned route is 5 miles one-way, 10 miles round trip, and lasts an estimated 2 hours. Two dance stops planned.
💨 We ride SLOW! Expect a pace of 5–9 mph. All wheels welcome, including e-bikes, scooters, rollerbladers, and skaters.
