Here we Go!

The next installment of amazing dance music artists to destroy the dance floor.

Devil Girl - Minneapolis, MN

Devil Girl spent the 1990’s based in St. Louis, playing techno at underground warehouse parties all over the US and Canada.
After a multi-year hiatus, she returned to DJ'ing in 2016 and developed a reputation for sets composed of hard, dark, off-kilter and industrial techno mixed with Chicago and Detroit classics to full-on techno bass and electro.

Find her podcasts Devil Cake Techno and Android Assassins on Soundcloud and her music productions on 314Techno Records, Mastoid Kollective, and Abstrakt Xpressions.

Jameen - Minneapolis, mn

Jameen has been a dance-music diehard since the mid-nineties, when she began going to the storied techno parties at New York’s Limelight, dancing all night to techno legends Lenny Dee and Josh Wink.
But her heart is in the Twin Cities dance scene.
Since the late nineties, after returning to her native Midwest, Jameen’s melding of soulful house and, as she puts it, “light, fluffy, beautiful melodic techno” has earned her the lasting respect of Minneapolis-St. Paul’s vibrant DJ community.
Shortly after learning the ropes of DJing in the vinyl era, under the tutelage of Minneapolis house master E-Tones, in 2000, Jameen, along with Medicinall and NatOsha, co-founded Ladies on Wax, the first all-woman DJ crew in Minneapolis.
Jameen remains a vinyl-only DJ, for its tactility and visual stimulation; often, these 12-inches come from Twin Cities artists such as Auto Kinetic and labels like Kajunga. “I like to support local as much as I can,” she explains.
Even during breaks from DJing, Jameen has been a hardy regular at area parties. “Dancing is therapeutic for me,” she says. “You release all the negative shit that's built up in your body. It's a spiritual experience for me. I feel the other people's energy on the dance floor."

Lauryn Lesley - minneapolis, mn.

Lauryn's sonic mission is to unearth sounds that catalyze therapeutically rich, joyfully psychedelic, ethereal, and introspective experiences for underground dancefloor communities.
They're honored to have played at Intellephunk's 'The Great Beyond' festival [2021], Communion's closing party ['21], House Proud ['21], record for Kajunga's mix series, and are looking forward to playing at The Great Beyond again this year.
