Groove Scenario

Groove Scenario at The Red Sea is a weekly deep-dive into the underground sound of the Twin Cities: beatmakers, experimental electronic artists, selectors, and DJs pushing the edges of hip-hop, dub, 2-step, breaks, ambient, and beyond. Hosted by DJ Pizza Slice, along with resident DJs Buster Baxter and jinxx, the event features special guest performers each night. Originally established in 2018 as a producer-focused showcase at the locally-beloved Kitty Cat Klub in Dinkytown, Groove Scenario returns, after a pandemic-induced hiatus, with eclectic beats on the other bank of the Mississippi.
