Berlin After Dark: Lonefront

Ross Hutchens aka Lonefront is an electronic musician hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area and currently based in Minneapolis. Occupying dual roles as a DJ and a Live PA, Lonefront is renowned for seamlessly blending hardware synthesizers and drum machines to create immersive sonic experiences.

Lonefront’s music can be heard in clubs worldwide being performed by some of techno’s most-beloved DJs. He has performed alongside luminaries such as BMG, Juana, and DVS1. In 2022, he founded Uncoiled, a record label that quickly gained notoriety with a feature in DJ Nobu’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Hutchens designed Uncoiled as an outlet for his experiments with custom tuning systems and will be incorporated into his performance at Berlin. Expect the otherworldly atmospherics of his techno performances contextualized through the measured techniques of ambient.
