These words describe a snapshot of an artist fully immersed in music creation and performance.  Leon J's energetic stage presence demands your attention, and promises to keep it.  Drawing from a carefully selected palate of sound, he tastefully challenges your aural experience.  In over a decade of live performances, Leon has been host to numerous nightlife events, and a featured artist for various special events and internet radio shows.  He is the requested opening act for each live show BT or The Crystal Method play in Minnesota, and has shared the stage with other international talent such as Josh Wink, Adam Freeland, Marco V, Baby Anne, Phil K, Jen Lasher, SOTEG, Bear Who, Anthony Attalla, and more. 

In 2009, as founder of The Unknown, Leon J found success in the industry as a well-respected remix artist, and in only one short year had produced and released nearly 300 titles.  In the same year, under the moniker Recon 22, he produced and released the original “Crosshairs EP” (Solar Cathedral Recordings), available on Beatport.com.  Since leaving Recon 22 and The Unknown in 2010, Leon J continues to release remixed work and original music under his own name.  As an Ableton Certified Trainer, Leon is dedicated to  the pursuit of knowledge.  An instructor with American Guitar & Band and Slam Academy, Leon shares his knowledge with students eager to realize their dreams as computer musicians.
