As the seasons shift and we emerge from winter’s grasp, we are ready to rebirth ourselves from chilling darkness into the warmth of spring. Spectrum Rebirth is our moment to mark this transition—to embrace the growing light, the return of color, and the full spectrum of energy that comes with it.
On April 26th, we come together under a canopy of prismatic reflections, deep shadows, and electric soundscapes.
But as with any transformation, we must honor both sides of the spectrum. This night isn’t just about light—it’s about contrast. We begin with pulsating euphoria, shimmering melodies, and kinetic, uplifting energy, but as the night deepens, we’ll shift into something darker, heavier, and more hypnotic. By the time the final basslines hit, we’ll find ourselves fully immersed in the shadowy, high-intensity realms of psychedelic sound.

Hailing from the shores of the Great Gitche Gummee and Penokee Mountains of Wisconsin, Andy has always been fascinated with the sounds of the natural world. As we journey deeper into the forest, there will be as interesting host of organic creatures and synthetic sonic environments, from the blissful to outright deranged. A pack of scavenging wolves has been spotted near the designated trail. This means we can only bring what is necessary, like a good pair of dancing shoes, and we will need to leave our troubles behind.

Emerging from Psyowa City, Psyowa circa 2014, Shawn Raja is a vinyl DJ whose first and primary love in dance music is early psy/goa trance. In his sets, Shawn Raja mixes classic goa with acid, hard trance, and breaks, aiming to present compelling dance music that is funky, melodic, bangin, and psychedelic (in equal measure).

Kitten Candy is the dance music project of May Louise Shea, a producer, live performer, DJ, and promoter from Minneapolis. Her music crosses time and genre, bringing together lush tones of synth wave and italo, the pump and drive of electro, and the slow ominous drone of Witchhouse. As a promoter and community organizer, May Louise Is dedicated to the creation and preservation of spaces and events for trans and queer people. She is currently working on a documentary about the queer and trans dance music community in Minneapolis and St Paul.
