Ratio: Oct 2024

Pivot proudly presents the return of Ratio to the Red Sea this October after its momentary hiatus.

For this iteration of Ratio happening on October 4th, we will be doing things a little bit differently as this will be the first live PA and hardware focused Ratio!
We will be treading into some seriously unhinged territory as we welcome Bill Converse from Dark Entries to make his debut in Minnesota.

For those unfamiliar, Dark Entries is a record label based in San Francisco that has a knack for releasing out of print and unreleased music from underground artists ( See Patrick Cowley's discography on this label) Dark Entries also has releases made by current artists, and Bill Converse is one of them.

Bill will be flying from Texas to perform a jackin' live set during peak time (11:30 - 12:15). As many heads know, Bill's style of music is quite chaotic and uncanny, something that fits within the midwest motif. So be prepared to experience a live set you won't forget.

Tagging in alongside Bill Converse with live PA's are local hardware legends Heckadecimal (Always Human Tapes) and Lonefront (Uncoiled). These two are heads of Bill and his craft, so they will know how to complement the sounds Mr. Converse will lay out.

For supporting djs, we welcome back Pivot dj duo Honesty in Motion to kick off the night with some deep cuts and their usual dj flare.
Ending the night will be Beab, bringing the sixth installment of Ratio to a close.

We are also happy to announce that we will be having Head Inna Bin do sound for the night, so be prepared for a full body experience with this cast of seasoned hardware performers and djs.
